General information

We process users' personal data solely in compliance with the relevant data privacy provisions. This means that user data is processed only where legally permitted, i.e. where data processing is legally required, the user has provided consent or in line with our legitimate interests as defined in art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR.

Personal data such as your name, address, telephone number or email address is not recorded unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. as part of a newsletter, an application or an enquiry.

Only if you have given your advance approval or – where statutory regulations provide for this – have not raised an objection, will we also use this data for product-related marketing purposes.

Accessing our website

When you access our website, the browser used for this on your end device automatically sends information to the server for our website/application, which is temporarily stored in a log file. We have no influence over this. The following information is also recorded without your input and is stored until it is automatically deleted:

• The IP address of the Internet-enabled device making the request
• The date and time of access
• The name and URL of the file accessed
• The website/application used to gain access (referrer URL)
• The browser you used and where applicable the operating system of your Internet-enabled computer and the name of your access provider

The legal basis for processing the IP address is art. of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the following purposes for data collection. Remember that the data collected does not give us any direct indication of your identity and we do not draw any conclusions in this regard. We use the IP address of your end device and the data listed above for the following purposes:

• To ensure that a smooth connection is established
• To ensure that our website is pleasant to use
• To assess system security and stability

We at Jungheinrich Lift Truck India Private Limited welcome your interest in working for our company and are happy to receive your online application.

In this section, we will explain to you how we process data as part of a job application process – in accordance with art. 13 of the GDPR.

By accepting our data privacy declaration for our online application process, you agree that the Jungheinrich may save and process your data for the purpose of undergoing an application procedure.

Data collection

During your online application, we will collect and process the following personal application data:

• Last name
• First name
• Address and telephone number
• Email address
• Application documentation (letter of application, CV, references, certificates and similar)

Purpose of data processing/forwarding

The personal data provided by you within the scope of a specific application process will be used exclusively for the purpose of the application process. Your data will be made available to the relevant employees of the Jungheinrich Group involved in the appropriate personnel selection process. The parties involved in the selection process may belong to other companies within the Jungheinrich Group. Consequently, your application data may be further disclosed within the Group. Any further use or forwarding of your applicant data is excluded.

Data security

Your data will be transmitted in an encrypted manner and then stored in a database. Jungheinrich will save and process your data in accordance with the applicable data privacy regulations. Your data will always be kept confidential. All personal details that we collect and process as part of a job application are protected by technical and organisational methods against unauthorised access and manipulation.

Retention (duration of processing)

Should no further action result from the application process, with no employment relationship being created, we commit ourselves to deleting the personal data after six months.

Applicant pool

In the event that you applied for a specific position and this has already been filled or we also consider you to be even more suited to another position or you have submitted an unsolicited application, we will forward your application further within our Group in order that you may be considered for future application processes – insofar as you have agreed to such data processing.
Deletion of data/withdrawal of consent

Regarding the application process we kindly ask you for this consent:

• Please confirm that you accept our data privacy declaration: You agree that all personal data resulting from your application may be collected by the Jungheinrich Group for the purpose of conducting an application process and processed, used and disclosed in accordance with our data privacy declaration and current data privacy laws.
• Please confirm that you wish your application to be considered for (other) vacant positions/the applicant pool: Should your application be unsuccessful or if you submitted an unsolicited application, you consent to the Jungheinrich Group forwarding your data within the group in accordance with our data privacy declaration and the current data privacy laws for the purpose of considering you and contacting you in the event of (other) vacant positions.

Your rights as the person concerned

As well as the right to withdraw consent, you also – if so provided by statutory requirements – have the following additional rights:

Cookies – general information

We use "cookies" on our website on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR. Our interest in optimising our website is thereby deemed legitimate within the sense of the above regulation. Cookies are small files automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies pose no threat to your end device and contain no viruses, trojan horses or other malware. The cookie contains information produced in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity through this. One purpose of using cookies is to make the use of our offering a more pleasant experience for you. We therefore use so-called session cookies to detect that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are deleted automatically when you leave our site. We also use temporary cookies for user-friendliness purposes; these are stored on your end device for a specific period. Traffic channel tracking via "jh_medium"

We use the "JH_Medium" cookie to store "channel information" on your visit to our homepage. This means that we use a script that we have developed to record the source of your visit to enable analysis thereof. No personal data is stored. In particular, no IP addresses are stored and no usage behaviour is analysed.

Google Analytics

For the needs-oriented design and ongoing optimisation of our web pages, on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest) we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Anonymous usage profiles are created and cookies are used in connection with this. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as

• Browser type/version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL (the page visited prior)
• Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
• Time of the server request

is sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data privacy law.

We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymisation activated. This means that the user's IP address is truncated by Google within the Member States of the European Union and other contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The user can apply the corresponding setting in the browser software to block the storage of cookies. However, we should point out that it may not be possible to use all the functions of this website as a result. The user can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie regarding use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under this link:  http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

An alternative to the browser plugin, or within browsers on mobile devices, it is possible to set an opt-out cookie that prevents future data collection by Google Analytics within this website.

Google Ads online advertising program

The targeting measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 (f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest). With the targeting measures used, we would like to ensure that only advertising oriented towards your actual or assumed interests is shown on your end devices. Not burdening you with adverts that are of no interest to you is within both our and your interests.

This website uses the Google Ads online advertising program and, within its scope, conversion tracking. We also store the gclid parameter in the "jh_medium" cookie in order to evaluate the success of our advert placement. These cookies are set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Third-party providers, including Google, place ads on websites on the Internet and use stored cookies to place adverts based on a user's previous visits to this website. These Ads cookies expire after 30 days, and the gclid parameter cookie expires after 90 days, and are not used for personal identification. Google may transfer this information to third parties where this is required by law or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

The collection and storage of data may be deactivated at any time with effect for the future. You can disable the use of cookies by Google by accessing the page for deactivating Google advertising. You can also disable conversion tracking cookies by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com". However, we should point out that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website as a result.

Google Signals and Google remarketing / DoubleClick

If you consented to the “statistics” and "marketing" categories via our cookie banner or cookie consent tool (consent according to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we also activate the Google Analytics extension Google Signals on our website. Once again, the provider is Google LLC (formerly Google Inc.), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The responsible service provider for the European Union is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland – hereafter referred to as "Google".

With Google Signals, Google Analytics (see section on Google Analytics) records additional information such as demographic data and interest categories for Google users, who have activated personalised ads in their Google settings. Google links this data with individual signals to enable cross-device analyses. However, Google Analytics only makes this data available in anonymised form as aggregated reports, which enable an analysis of general behavioral patterns. We are unable to personally identify you on this basis.

We use Google Signals to better understand the digital journey of our users and to provide personalized ads to users who have previously visited our website (retargeting). To this end, special target groups or Google audiences are created within Google Analytics, which can then be used as remarketing lists via Google's advertising platform Google Ads and, if necessary, DoubleClick cookies in order to provide cross-device, personalized advertising to selected target groups. In this case, the ads can be displayed in Google's advertising network, which includes Google Search, YouTube, other Google products as well as third-party websites that display ads from Google customers.

Microsoft Bing Ads 

On our pages, we use the conversion tracking of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Microsoft Bing Ads stores a cookie on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Microsoft Bing ad. In this way, Microsoft Bing and we can recognize that someone has clicked on an ad, has been redirected to our website and has reached a previously determined target page. We only learn the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to the landing page. No personal information about the user's identity is disclosed.

Microsoft Bing cookies are stored on the basis of your consent pursuant to Section 13 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (via our cookie banner). Bing Universal Event Tracking (UET) 

On our website, Bing Ads technologies are used to collect and store data from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. This is a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. This service enables us to track the activities of users on our website if they have reached our website via ads from Bing Ads. If you arrive at our website via such an ad, a cookie is set on your computer. A Bing UET tag is integrated on our website. This is a code which, in conjunction with the cookie, stores some non-personal data about the use of the website. This includes, among other things, the length of time spent on the website, which areas of the website were accessed and via which ad the users arrived at the website. Information about your identity is not collected.

The information collected is transferred to Microsoft servers in the USA and stored there for a maximum of 180 days in accordance with their privacy policy. Purpose of data processing

We use "Meta Pixel" on the basis of the above-mentioned consent corresponding to the legitimate interests of the responsible body (Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR) for the following purposes:

• Advertising / remarketing: With the help of "Meta Pixels", it is possible for Meta to assign our online visitors to target groups ("custom audiences" or "lookalike audiences") in order to display specific advertising and content ("Meta ads"). We also use "Meta Pixel" to display the Meta ads we have posted to Meta users who have shown a general interest in our online content or who possess certain characteristics that are transmitted to Meta (e.g. an interest in certain related topics or products based on the websites visited).
• Statistical analysis: Furthermore, "Meta Pixel" is used to measure, analyse and optimise the ads we post on Meta in order to understand, for example, whether visitors interact with our website after having seen the advertisement and, if applicable, whether they clicked on the advertisement.

No "advanced data matching" takes place and no e-mail addresses are uploaded to Meta (otherwise known as "custom audiences from file").

Right to object / Withdrawal of consent

With the help of "Meta Pixels", we also want to make sure that our Meta ads are in line with the potential interests of the users and are not disturbing. Emails and Newsletters  

You can receive news and current offers from Jungheinrich via our newsletter and emails. If you have entered your e-mail address under the heading "Newsletter", clicked on the "Subscribe" button and confirmed your subscription to us again via the link sent to the e-mail address you entered (double opt-in), we will process and use your e-mail address to send you the requested newsletter on a regular basis.  

Within the scope of the registration for the newsletter as well as for sending information to you, we use the marketing automation software Marketo Engage of Marketo EMEA Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk Drive, Citywest Business Campus, Cooldown Commons, Dublin 24, Ireland. For this purpose, we have concluded a contract with the provider in accordance with the DPDP in which the provider undertakes to process the user data only in accordance with our instructions and to comply with the data protection provisions. A forwarding of the data to third parties is excluded.  

You have the right and the possibility to unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list at any time. At the end of each newsletter you will find a corresponding unsubscribe link. Alternatively, you can unsubscribe on the website using the link in the footer "Preference Center" or send an email to marketing@jungheinrich.in with the unsubscribe request. 

Personal data processed  

With the help of Marketo, we collect data about the use of our website and communication measures in order to optimize our offer accordingly and to conduct email marketing, personalization and sales activities. In doing so, the processing is partly automated with the aim of evaluating certain personal aspects (profiling/customer segmentation).  

The following master data is affected: Customer and prospect data (e.g. name, company, address), business-related data (e.g. role, profession), marketing consents (e.g. newsletter consent), website usage data (e.g. length of visit, click behavior, number of pages viewed, documents downloaded), data from marketing campaigns (e.g. website visits, webinar registrations), contract and delivery information (e.g. order or delivery date) and customer satisfaction data (e.g. from surveys). 

In addition, we store information about the browser you use and the settings made in your operating system as well as information about your Internet connection with which you have accessed our website. Via the newsletter sent to you, we receive, among other things, receipt and read confirmations as well as information about the links you have clicked on in our newsletter. We also store which areas you have visited within our website and in our apps. 

Purpose of data processing  

With the help of this data, we implement our regular as well as occasion-related email marketing activities such as newsletters, invitations to (digital) events, nurturing emails and automated mailings for example after a whitepaper download (occasion-related event).

Furthermore, your data may be used for the personalized display of content on our website. Based on your usage behavior, for example, we display relevant web campaigns, recommendations or offers, provided that you have given your consent for marketing purposes as part of our consent management system. We can also use targeting data to show you targeted adverts on other online offers via advertising partners.

To find out which of our company's services are of particular interest to you, we create a contact profile. The contact profile is completed using analytical and statistical methods based on heuristic algorithms. This approach is also referred to as contact scoring and segmentation. For more information, please refer to the Cookies and Tracking section. The data is also used for statistical purposes. 

Legal basis  

The legal basis for processing your personal data in Marketo and sending emails or newsletters to you is your consent in the contact form (separate checkbox for newsletters) or the newsletter form. Ordering the newsletter is voluntary and the data processing is based on your consent within the meaning of the DPDP.

Based on your consent via the cookie banner or the cookie consent tool, we will evaluate your user behavior on our websites as well as within the newsletters we send and assign it to your email address / user profile within our database.

Cookies and Tracking  

Marketo collects your IP address and uses cookies to track and analyze site usage in order to provide information specifically tailored to the user's interests. The information generated by the cookies is transferred to a Marketo server (located within the EU/EEA) and stored there. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. Browser settings made by you may, however, result in you possibly not being able to use all functions of our online offer.  

To protect your privacy  

You can object to the processing of your personal data at any time. 

Newsletter: You have the right and the possibility to unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list at any time. At the end of each newsletter you will find a corresponding unsubscribe link. Alternatively, you can unsubscribe on the website using the link in the footer "Preference Center" or send an email to marketing@jungheinrich.in with the unsubscribe request. 

Tracking: You can revoke a previously given consent to data collection at any time with effect for the future by rejecting the use of cookies and scripts for statistical purposes in our Cookie Consent Manager

To prevent you from being shown personalized advertising outside of our online offering, you can also adjust the advertising settings in your user accounts on various online platforms (e.g. Google) and deactivate personalized advertising.

If you object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interest, we will consider on a case-by-case basis whether we can demonstrate legitimate grounds that override your interests and rights and freedoms. In the event that there are no grounds worthy of protection on our part or that your interests and rights and freedoms are overridden, your personal data will no longer be processed. An exception to this is if your personal data is still used for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. If you object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing or customer segmentation purposes, insofar as this is related to such direct marketing, your personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes with effect for the future.

In the context of the processing of personal data with Marketo, only data centers in the EU are used. In the event that data is nevertheless processed in the USA, for example for maintenance and support, the European standard contractual clauses apply. 

Contacting   

When contacting us (via contact form or email), the user's details are processed for the purpose of handling the contact request and its processing pursuant to the DPDP (for the performance of a pre-contractual measure). 

The user's details may be stored in our Customer Relationship Management System ("CRM System"), in our Marketing Automation System (Marketo EMEA Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk Drive, Citywest Business Campus, Cooldown Commons, Dublin 24, Ireland) or comparable inquiry organization. 

In India, we use CRM system “SAP Cloud for Customer” (C4C) on the basis of our legitimate interests (efficient and fast processing of user requests). For this purpose, we have concluded a contract with the provider in accordance with the DPDP, in which the provider undertakes to process user data only in accordance with our instructions and to comply with the EU data protection level. 

In the event that you select the category Press, HR, Marketing, or Brand information, we process your data exclusively for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. The data will only be kept as long as it is necessary to fulfill the respective purpose.

Consent Management 

For the collection, storage, and management of your personal data pertaining to marketing consents, we use the internet-based service of the provider OneTrust Technology Limited, 82 St John St, Farrington, London EC1M 4JN, UK (“OneTrust”), to ensure that we can obtain and manage your consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws and regulations. OneTrust allows us to be transparent and efficient with your privacy preferences. Usage of Product Guides

Our website uses Product Guides to advice you during your buying decision process and enable an easy product selection. Provider of the Product Guides is a leading provider of Guided Selling solutions: excentos Software GmbH, Reiterweg 1, 14469 Potsdam, Germany, www.excentos.com.

The Product Guides collect usage data such as the answer options and navigation actions selected by the user. This data is required to provide the interaction with the Product Guide and to calculate the product recommendations. This data is kept only temporarily in the memory of the web server and not saved permanently on the web server.
